With Hurricane Ian on the way to NC,  I kept the workout to the dry tunnel. 2 other FiAs joined me for our dice workout.  After the disclaimer and starting my Hurricane playlist (all songs had hurricane, storm or rain in the title)  , we did a few stretches and  warmup exercises.

The Thang:

I had 3 dice.  The Red die had numbers 1-12 and the 2 blue ones were 1-20. Red die was for the exercise and we added up the 2 blue dice to get the rep count.

  1. Pushup with weight drag
  2. Advanced Clam Shell
  3. Mountain climber (4) with weighted side plank
  4. Skull crushers
  5. Monkey Humpers
  6. Bear to Plank
  7. Bicep Curls
  8. 180 suitcase squat
  9. Burpee with Bicep
  10. Shoulder Press
  11. Barre leg  exercise –  Lunge, tap in, lunge, kickback
  12. Squat Jump

After each roll, we would do a different type of walking lunge through the tunnel.  If using single leg/arm, change lead on return trip.

  • Gallop lunge
  • Gallop lateral lunge
  • Lunge – Squat
  • Dumbbell pass through under leg
  • Lunge – single arm -hold weight over head

After each lunge walk , we roll the dice again but build off our previous exercises.  For us it was Squat jumps,   then next round Squat jumps followed by Barre ex, then Squat jumps, Barre, advanced clamshells. etc….  Our luck of the dice, we  were hit with all the leg exercises.. Oh well, that how the dice rolled!!  Booty Burn!

We ended with some relaxing stretches to Kermit the Frog singing Rainbow Connection!!
