We warmed up with a traveling warm-up around the pickle with some toy soldiers, hip openers, high knees, butt kickers, skipping and a little arms.

The Thang: We did a pyramid workout today. The first time through was a mix of cardio and upper body exercises. The second time through with did a mix of lower body and cardio.

Upper Body:

10 Star jumps, 10 push-ups

20 Mt. Climbers (HC), 20 lat pull-downs with bands

30 Heisman’s, 30 Seated row with bands

40 Plank Jacks, 40 tricep extensions with bands (20 ea. arm)

50 High knees (HC), 50 bicep curls with bands (25 ea. arm)

and then we worked out way back down to 10.

Lower Body:

10 Star Jumps, 10 Donkey kicks

20 Mt. Climbers (HC), 20 standing lateral leg lifts with bands (10 ea. side)

30 Heisman’s, 30 single leg dead lift with bands (15 ea. side)

40 Plank Jacks, 40 Hamstring curls with bands (20 ea. side)

50 High Knees (HC), 50 squats with bands around the knees

Then we worked our way back down to 10.

After 2 pyramids, we had 5 minutes for much-needed stretching and COT.
