COT (Tiny Boots) I’m a recovering perfectionist. New Years and goal setting can be a very punishing exercise. In years past I would set hard numbers to goals and then when I didn’t reach them, all I would do is beat myself up for not being good enough. As I’ve gotten older and the more I’ve educated myself, I’ve moved away from goals setting and set intentions based on what’s important to me. For example:

I am a person who values connection so I leave margin in my calendar to intentionally connect with people

So that’s my challenge to you as we head into 2024.

Think about what’s important to you and then figure out how to make it happen

“True long-term thinking is goal-less thinking. It’s not about any single accomplishment. It is about the cycle of endless refinement and continuous improvement. Ultimately, it is your commitment to the process that will determine your progress.” ~James Clear
