I had the chance to use my new FiA workout deck. Beforehand there were lots of exercises to look up to make sure that I knew them all. Queens is one that I never did find even with checking the FiA Lexicon, the F3 Lexicon and google searching it away. Of course, it was a chosen card so Fullback and I have determined, well really Fullback, that it will now be 2 curtsy lunges and 1 deadlift to count as 1. Think royalty….bowing and curtsies. Anywho, we did a a quick warm up.
The Thang:
Tabata style. Pick 4 cards, one from each suit (upper, lower, cardio, and abs) and do each exercise for 35 seconds with 10 seconds rest. Repeat until all 4 exercises were completed twice each. Then to break up the sets there are a handful of cards that I split out. You know the ones that Q calls and you groan a little ( Captain Thor, Boy Bands, Motivators). The cards selected for this pile are all cards that have multiple repetitions so these were not timed but were completed to 10 reps of the first item.
Our Cards were:
Round 1: Diamond Push Ups, Ragedy Anns, Jump Squats and Suit Case Squats
Motivator In Between (10 Jumping Jacks, Half Jacks, Legs Only Jacks, Jump in place, Then 9 of each, until we got to 1)
Round 2: Ladies Choice (Bicep Curls), Flutter Kick, Heisman, Curtsy Lunges
Boy Band in Between: 1 squat, 4 lunges then 2 squats, 8 lunges until we made it to 10 & 40
Round 3: Alligator Push Ups, LBCs, Jump Shot, Queens
Jack Webb in between (10 push ups, 40 Hallelujahs, 5 push ups , 20 Hallelujahs, Down to 1 & 4). We didn’t have enough time to do all which is why we started with 10 and skipped a few middle numbers.
