We did a quick warm up with some good mornings, wind mills, butt kicks, high knees, arm circles and some Phelps. We finished our warm up by running the half mile track.

The Thang:

We counted off and split into two groups. Group A did a farmers carry with their heavy weights and walked backwards around the pickle. Group B did an exercise while waiting for Group A. Group B then did their backwards farmer carry while Group A did the exercise. Then Group A did a farmers carry and walked the pickle forwards while Group B repeated the previous exercise. Then the groups swapped again.
We repeated this format for three exercises: sumo squats, chest fly, reverse fly. Then the Q realized we were almost out of time so we adjusted. Group A ran to the end of the long pickle and back while Group B did standing crunches. Then swapped with Group A. We did this again for deadlifts and front/lateral raises and we were out of time.
Q forgot a COT but never fear our fearless leader reminded us that we are all integral pieces of the Carpex puzzle and the puzzle wouldn’t be complete without each and every one of us.
