We started the workout to half of the song, “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen. I (@SuperWhy) led the group in a mimic style warm-up where everyone followed my movements from behind that I called out – either “Left, Right, Up (Jump), Down (Burpee)” in a freestyle manor. It definitely got our heart rates up!

Then we moved on to a 3-group station rotation workout themed “Getting To Know You”. Each group answered the notecard questions while completing an exercise 1. Full name, where from, family/job: Downward Dog & stretching, 2. What is something you are proud of that you’ve accomplished? 3. What is something you did that you overcame and had to be brave?

Next, we did a “Would you rather?” question/answer while exercising activity. Two groups sent out 1 person each to race to retrieve the “Would you rather?” card. Winners returned with the question/exercise posed to the group. There were 15 questions/exercises.

Finally, we finished off with a “Tunnel of Love” activity where we lined up our mats and held plank poses as each person army crawled through the tunnel. Everyone shared what they did as their first ever job. Afterwards we partnered back-to-back and passed a basketball between our legs down the line as we did our Name-a-rama.

The COT was taken from Ted Lasso. “You know what the happiest animal on the Earth is? It’s a goldfish. You know why? Got a ten-second memory. Be a goldfish.”
