An impressive 7 women did a prerun before today’s workout 💪! After we reconvened in the deck I gave my disclaimer and we got the workout started. We moseyed to the corner of Kildaire and Academy actively warming up along the way. We partnered up and I explained our “No Mercy” workout. Sometimes we don’t push ourselves as hard as we are capable and find ourselves matching our energy to the lady next to us. So what often winds up happening is we find the lowest common denominator and miss out on our fullest potential! So today we added a bit of motivation to push hard!

Thang: don’t get caught

One partner sprinted two light poles. Partner two gave a 2 second head start then gave chase. If partner one is caught they have one exercise to do to the next light pole. If you don’t get caught you do an easier exercise to the next light pole. We switched back and forth to the end of academy street.

Penalty: bear crawl, bear crawl, froggers

Non-penalty: lunge walk, monster walk, low side shuffle

NO ONE got caught! Everyone pushed hard on every sprint! Way to go ladies!

Once we reached the end of academy we circled up in front of the bank and each grabbed a bench for two 5-min AMRAP sets.

Set 1: 5 dips, 10 irkins, 15 CDDs, 20 mountain climbers (HC).

Set 2: 5 box jumps, 10 jumping jacks, 5 donkey kicks, 10 oil derricks (EC)

We moseyed back down the street to the deck and circled up in the breezeway where we did two rounds of a 4 min abs Tabata. 40 on 20 rest.
