We gathered in a circle for the disclaimer and a standard warm up. Then I explained the workout, borrowed from an old Frito workout, a “Chatty AMRAP” or alternatively named, “it’s your workout AMRAP”. 3 exercises, 4 minutes, you choose the reps/switch it up whenever you want, you just have to keep cycling through the 3 exercises during the 4 minutes. Then we’d do a ring of fire with a twist in between the rounds.
Round 1 : Jump Lunge, Monkey Humpers, Sumo squat pulse
Ring of Fire: everyone holds plank, one person skips around the circle, everyone burpees when they get back to their spot
Round 2: Boy bands, Froggers, Squat pulse
Ring of Fire: boat hold, butt kickers around, BGSU
Round 3: Bicep curl, Shoulder Press, Bent over row
Ring of Fire: Squat hold, High knees, Star Jump
Round 4: Jump Squat, Blast off pushup, curtsey lunge
Ring of Fire: changed it out for a sprint down one side of the pickle, jog back to the circle
Round 5: Bridge pulse, chest fly, dead bug
Skipped to round 6 for time
Round 6: Knee repeaters, wood chopper, standing side crunch
had enough time for one more sprint!
