It’s been awhile since I posted and led a Q.  Since I am out of practice, I decided to do things backwards. We started out with a reminder of the FiA challenge to drink 50 to 75% of your body weight in ounces of water ( per day). Each FiA participant received a bottle of water and a bag of colorful paper hearts to write love notes for family and friends. Our stretching ( warm up in disguise) included toy soldiers, jumping jacks, and a run around the pickle.

Legs: (20 reps each side) traditional leg lifts (top leg), lower leg lifts (bottom leg). In plank, rotate extended leg in an arch (rainbow), and then bend leg (L) in up/down motion.

Run the pickle

Core: Plank for two minutes changing form at 30 second intervals. Crunched 25; laterals 20 HC, leg lifts 15, V ups 15, and Russian twists 20HC.

Run the pickle

Arms: Dips 15, Push Ups 25, Hallelujah 20, Arm circles small and large forwards and back 25

Run the pickle

Four corners: Jump squats and star bursts 15, Lunges HC 20, Mountain climbers 25, Burpees 10

Warm up (cool down in disguise): Downward-facing dog with left and right leg extensions, cat/cow stretches, from wide squat position, right shoulder to left knee and switch sides. We ended our workout with a brain exercise stating our name, age, and FiA name backwards! Thanks for joining me today and moving forward with your day!
