Our warm spring weather was gone and the cold, rainy weather was back this morning, so we stayed under the shelter today!

After a disclaimer for safety and COVID we warmed up with a variety of stretches that I can’t remember, but I’m sure included some good mornings, cherry pickers, arms and more!

The Thang:

Round 1: 4 sets with 3 exercises in each set. We went through each exercise for a minute with 15 seconds rest between exercises. Between each set, we moved around the perimeter of the shelter with walking lunges, grapevines and shuffling.

Round 2: we repeated each set/exercise for 45 seconds with 10 seconds rest.

Exercises:

set 1: Jumping Jack Burpee, Plank jack (4) and Mt Climbers(4), WWII sit-up with pulling knee in, Bear hold with arm raise to knee touch

set 2: Jump squat with punch, Plank with lateral reach, Hollow hold rope pull, Right lunge with knee to elbow.

set 3: Ankle touch to butt kickers, Push-up with alternate reach, Frog 🐸 pumps, left lunge with knee to elbow.

With 5 minutes left we finished with a single leg jump rope with a 50-40-30-20-10 count rotating legs.

We finished with a couple minutes of stretching including Jana’s new hamstring twisty stretch and name-o-rama.
