It was a brisk, beautiful April morning at Book Drop, and we had a great turnout of 13 PAX! Zeppelin teamed up with me (Deuce) for my VQ!

Warm-up: Zeppelin led off with a usual warm-up of good mornings & other stretches.

Part 1: We moseyed over to the church parking lot & Zeppelin played the song “I get knocked down, but I get up again,” and every time we heard that phrase we did a burpee. When we weren’t doing  burpees, we did imperial walkers. That 3.5 minute song felt a lot longer than it actually is, and for all who are curious, we did 27 burpees. 🙂

Part 2: Deuce took over and we did a Dora. Technically, it was Doracides. We partnered up & the partner who was running did a suicide using parking lines. The other partner started with the stationary exercises, which were 300 squats, 200 LBCs, 100 plank jacks, and 50 push-ups.

Part 3: After a quick water break, we finished off with some interval exercises. We did 8 different exercises for 45 seconds each, with a 15 second rest in between. These were mountain climbers, American hammers, skaters, plank up downs, raggedy anns, (more) burpees, bicycles, and a plank hold.

After those 8 minutes were up, we had a quick COT & name-o-rama.

It was another great morning at Book Drop with a fantastic group of ladies!
