The rain stopped just in time for our workout today. The Q started with a disclaimer and stretching including good mornings, windmills, toy soldiers, arm circles, butt kickers and high knees.

The PAX then jogged about 1/2 mile to a new-ish parking lot off of Salem St. This is where the Beatdown happened!

The idea was borrowed from KC FIA and was a good one!

8 rounds of 30 seconds of exercise 1, 60 seconds of exercise 2, then 10 push-ups each round. After you finish 10 push-ups, jog to the bottom of the hill and sprint up the hill. Hold squat or plank until all PAX have returned.

Here are the exercises for each round:
burpees, sumo squats

Mt. climbers, skaters

right plank, glute bridges with right leg in the air

left plank, glute bridges with left leg in the air

shoulder taps, calve raises

sparky crabs, reverse lunges

hallelujahs, superman

dips, American hammer

2 more rounds were planned, but we were short on time, so we ran the 1/2 mile back to our cars and finished with COT and stretching. Thanks for joining me this hot and humid morning!
